Rancho Escargot is on the Map!

OK! OK! many of our friends know we've moved to France but only a few know "exactly" where we are ...

Our home "Rancho Escargot" is located in the tiny hamlet of Magnagues (pop. 90) which, in all its tranquility, rests on a plateau directly above the Dordogne River and within the commune of Carennac. We are in the northern sector of the Haut-Quercy region of southwestern France.

This map can be manipulated to see our general location in relation to France's major cities.

Now that you're in the know ... let's keep it between ourselves! we are only prepared to share this little patch of the French 'countryside' with a very select few. Merci! Jack

We can't wait to visit Rancho Escargot. The rustic French country life, good food, vin rouge and the wonderful Tobins for company is all anyone could hope for.

Set a place at the table for Paula and Billy.

Ah...technology is an amazing thing! What a treat to be able to "experience" Rancho Escargot before the actual EXPERIENCE. Peggy and I looking forward to relaxing with you and Martine very soon and unwinding from our travels! It's amazing how Rancho Escargot looks just like Reno! See you soon ! Ralph and Peggy Witsell
